Welcome!

I work in oil and watercolor creating large, complex narrative still lifes and landscape paintings of old structures, garden scenes and roadside vegetation. My still life arrangements draw inspiration from the inherent beauty of common household items that are seen yet unseen in our daily lives. The paintings possess a sense of nostalgia while provoking conversations about relationships, otherness and the passing of time. They are a thoughtful look at detritus of our American lives now and in the recent past.
